PALM REDESIGN
We evaluated the Palm Pilot and found several major usability flaws with integrating similar information across applications and providing appropriate feedback. Grounded with data from various HCI techniques: Contextual Inquiry/Design, KLM/GOMS, Heuristic Evaluation, Cognitive Walkthrough, and Think Aloud Protocol. Our redesign allows users to better control their information by integrating to-do and calendar events to better track the progress of events. Application of each method enabled us to write a retrospective account.
